Transgender pedophile sentenced to jail again

Another case in support of Allison’s Law, which would prevent sex offenders and pedophiles from changing their name and gender.

A convicted child rapist who underwent a sex change after being jailed for assaulting an underage girl was allowed to move in with a mother and her young son after hiding his evil past.

Transgender paedophile Kristen Lukess was made the subject of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order when he was known as Mark Turton, which banned him from living with children.

The order was made after he was convicted of two counts of raping an underage child.

But, after being freed from the seven-year jail term in 2008, Turton changed both his name and his gender and set up home with a mother who had no idea about his evil past.

The 50-year-old has now been jailed for 20 months after pleading guilty at Plymouth Crown Court to two counts of breaching the order.

Lukess had also been jailed shortly after his release in 2008 when he got a woman pregnant.

Describing the latest breach, prosecutor Mike Brown said Lukess met the woman at a local group before forcing his way into the woman’s life by inundating her with texts, emails and messages over social media.

Lukess, of Plymouth, Devon, then stayed at the complainant’s address for four nights a week and would sleep in the room next to her 11-year-old son.

Judge Christopher Elwen said, ‘It is clear the probation service considers you a high or very high risk of re-offending.’

‘You disguised yourself to get around the prohibitions which had been placed upon you.’
